Ray Lewis was a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens football team. He played two Super Bowls with them, and the Baltimore Ravens won them both. The Baltimore Ravens are my favorite NFL team because they have good players in my opinion. Ray Lewis is one of the top 10 linebackers of all time. Also, Lewis is the only player in the NFL history with at least 40 career sacks and 30 career interceptions (41.5 sacks and 31 interceptions).
Early Life

Ray Lewis was born May 15, 1975, in Bartow, Florida USA. We don’t know much about Ray Lewis’s father except for that he never was around his family. Eventually Ray went to Kathleen High school. Although his mother was married at times, for the most part, Lewis grew up in a single parent home. At a young age, he was the man of the house in a poor neighborhood. Lewis recalled seeing peers, guys he thought were even better athletes than him, get caught up in the drug scene and never amount to anything.
College Years

Ray Lewis went to the University of Miami in 1993 to 1995 then he was the 26th overall pick of the 1996 NFL draft to the Baltimore Ravens. After starring in several sports in high school, Lewis enrolled at the University of Miami, where he became a middle linebacker and was named to the Freshman All-America team. In his junior year—his last at the university Lewis finished the season with a team-high 160 tackles and earned All America honors. This might be surprising after hearing that Ray Lewis was a huge linebacker, but he went to college for arts and science. He only played for three years in college, and was the recipient of the very last scholarship available in 1993. They voted Jack Harding MVP of the team after the 1995 season, Lewis opted for the NFL draft and became a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens.

Ray Lewis was one of NFL’s hardest hitters in my opinion. He was one of the best linebackers in NFL history. University of Miami (FL) linebacker Ray Lewis entered the NFL as the Baltimore Ravens first round pick, 26th overall, in the 1996 NFL Draft. Lewis, the franchise’s second-ever draft choice (Hall of Fame tackle Jonathan Ogden was the first), played his entire 17-year career with the team. He was MVP for Super Bowl XXXV and the Raven won.
This blog is really nice overall but why do you like ray lewis
