BALTIMORE BRIDGE FALLS AFTER A CRASH??

Did you hear the Baltimore bridge got hit and fell?? The crash occurred on March 26, 2024 when the a boat hit the Francis Scott Key bridge. It shocked everyone that it happened because it happened at night. There were 22 people on the boat. The boat was heading toward Sri Lanka.

Theres a video that showed the Francis Scott Key bridge getting hit. The video shows the Francis Scott Key Bridge crashing into one of the pillars then falling. The whole bridge seemed to collapse in one. Someone reached out to a crew member before the crash. The person said everyone was fine. However the situation still happened.

The boat was a 984-foot cargo ship that hit it. Eight people were on the bridge when it fell. Mostly only two were rescued. They issued a “mayday” alert before they hit the bridge.

US Sen. Chris Van Hollen said the path to rebuilding the bridge will be “long and expensive.” Tom Perez (Senior White House adviser) told reporters Tuesday “it’s too early” to tell how long it will take to rebuild the bridge. The bridge will remain closed until it will be rebuilt. It will be more stable than it was when the crash happened. The crash seems to bring people together and bless the losses. Maryland plans to rebuild the Francis Scott Key Bridge in just over four years at an estimated cost between $1.7 billion and $1.9 billion.
