History/Characteristics

How cool would it be to have a ferret? Well I’ll list some interesting facts about them! Starting off with some history on ferrets, the majority of ferrets are the domesticated variety. Experts say that they have been around a little over 2,500 years. That’s before the readers reading this were even born! Personality

Onto personality, ferrets are very very playful and active, but while they’re not active they’re sleeping! Ferrets sleep for around 15-18 hours a day, in my opinion they sleep quite a lot. They are also very sneaky and bring so much enjoyment to families and people around them! In my opinion they seem very fun to have and play with when you’re bored or don’t know what to do. I love to gather lots of information about ferrets because I hope to get one someday! I feel like they would be wonderful pets!

Diet

Moving onto ferrets diet. Ferrets are carnivores, they like eating raw meat, bones, skin, fur, and feathers! That’s cool to me because not many animals eat feathers. Most ferrets eat about 5-7% of their body weight on a daily basis. This is about 50-75 grams or it can be said as 1kg.
