Pigs normally sleep nose to nose, because they like to feel comforted when they sleep. When pigs sleep they often have dreams like many other different animals. Adult pigs sing to their piglets often to calm them before bed. If you have a pig as a pet, playing music can also calm them and make it better for them to sleep. Most pigs like to be covered with a blanket-like material before sleeping.
My pig knows how to spin and is currently learning how to sit. She loves to be outside but hates the rain and snow. She loves to be covered in blankets while having music playing. She loves belly rubs and to be scratched on the nose like many other pigs. When she gets really happy she likes to run around.
When you want to teach your pig tricks make sure you have their favorite treat,food,or toy with you or in your hand. Teaching them to sit can be one of the most difficult tricks to teach them. If you see your pig sitting say good boy or girl, give them encouragement and a treat. When you give them a lot of encouragement and praise for doing what they did,they will remember that and be more willing to do what you ask of them in the future. Teaching your pig to do tricks is both a fun and rewarding activity for both your pig and you.
