Cheerleading!!!

Jumps what is that?

Jumps is a thing people do in cheer it includes a series of people jumping in the air and then hitting a pose. Some jumps I like to do in my free time are hurdlers, toe touches, and double toes. Those are easy to do in seconds but there are some crazy cool jumps, (they’re not that cool by the way) we have the toe touches, herkie, and pikes. They all have something to do with cheer and they are a core part of it.

Tumbling!!!!!!

Tumbling is my favorite part about cheer getting to flip my body in different ways is just fun to me. But i have some favorite flip that i can do (get ready for a lot of words) round off handspring tuck, round off tuck, round off handspring layout. That’s just running skills i can do more skills like back walkover back handspring and standing tucks. Some flips that i cant even think of doing (ps i have tried attempts of all of these found only do one) standing full, round off handspring full handspring tuck, round off full. So as you can see that there is some tumbling that is hard and some that is easier than most.

The Main Part Of Cheer?

So you are probably thinking really hard on what the main part of cheer is if you aren’t in the business of cheerleading. So the main part is stunting, stunting is when a person is in the air and then people get thrown in the up higher into the air and hit a cool flip. So what are the main part of doing cheer well there are three spots you can do in cheer you can do back spotting which is what i do or base or flyer that’s what I’m going to be next year. Some roles that these people have to do in back spotting are holding up the flyer well they are up in the air and if there flyer falls the they are responsible for it yeah responsible. A base is stuck with holding the flyer feet well they are in the air they keep the stunt going and moving. Flyers are the ones who are in the air hitting moves and poses. Some of the craziest stunts in the world are a straight ride, one arm extension liberty, and a rewind.

We’re i cheered and recommended places in pen…

Some places i cheered at where in my home town and in pen here is a list of the places, Alaska Athletics, Full Force Allstars, and Action Elite which no longer is a cheer team. Those teams were previously some teams i have been on in the last 2 years. Three places i would recommend cheering at are, Celebrity Cheer, Full Force Allstars, And York elite Allstars. Those are just some cheer teams in the area of York Pen.

How Many What?

I have been on 3/2 cheer teams in just two years and you should also know how many cheer teams there are in the world if we’re on that road. The teams i am on and were on were level 1,2,1. The first year i did cheer i was on level 1 and two as a cross over. Since i have moved this year i had to join cheer half way through the season and ended up on another level one team but next year i will be on a level 3 or 4 Jr D2. There are multiple cheer teams in thus world today including over 12,000 cheer teams that exist and over 120 cheer gyms that exist. But the first ever cheer team was at the university of Minnesota.

How And Why!!!

Cheer goes back to hundreds of years ago jk only about 135 something years ago, but i am glad its a thing because multiple people today do it and enjoy it as much as i do, so I’m going to give you how it was born and why i am in cheer today. About a year or two ago I joined cheer because it looked fun at the most but i also joined because my best friend joined and i was at practice for gymnastics and saw girls doing cheer so all the sudden i fell in love and have been doing it since. History time, cheer started around November 2 of 1891 the inventor of cheers names is Thomas Peebles the famous inventor of cheer. Cool fact is that cheer was a boy sport till girl were able to join in about 1923 then boys thought it was not fun anymore.
