How I Started

3 or 4 years ago I got a 3d printer for Christmas, I didn’t know what it was because I was younger and 3d printers weren’t as popular or good. I got a new printer last year because the first one i got was small and I wanted to print bigger items. I like 3d printing and I am planning to get another 3d printer in the future.

It Is For Everyone

3d printing has a lot of possibilities of what to do, it can just be a hobby, I like it but I am not really an art person, you can 3d print anything for any other hobbies. If you want to make money off 3d printing you can sell prints online or sell models for prints.

The Future

In the future 3d printing will become cheaper, faster, and more reliable. The multi-color 3d printers will probably have less waste and get faster at switching through all the colors. The leading company for multicolor 3d printing is Bambu Lab because it is cheap and reliable.

Any Materials

You can print almost anything, there is metal printers and even chocolate 3d printers. Metal 3d printing is good for medical and engineering stuff. Chocolate and candy 3d printing is just for fun of course.

History of 3d Printing

3d printing was invented in the 1980s, In the late 1980s the most common type of 3d printing was invented, FDM. In the 2000s, 3d printing gained popularity.

Resin 3d printing

Resin 3d printing works by using chemicals and light to make objects. I don’t know much about resin 3d printing but I do know that it is very detailed and smooth.
